Your backside deserves better
Remember when buying a small car meant accepting cold hands and a radio that sounded like someone singing into a biscuit tin? This Kia missed that meeting.
This silver 2015 Picanto 4 has covered just 36567 miles and appears to have packed for a much more expensive life.
Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel mean your backside and fingers can stop arguing over which one is having the worse morning. Automatic air conditioning handles the opposite problem. There is even an electric sunroof, because being sensible with money does not mean you have to spend summer in a sealed lunchbox.
Then comes satellite navigation, Bluetooth music streaming, cruise control, smart key entry, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors. A Swiss Army knife with number plates. The camera might sound excessive on something this compact, but so does arguing with your partner over whether you had another six inches.
Underneath all that is a 1248cc petrol engine with a manual gearbox. The official combined consumption figure is 62.8 mpg, which gives you an idea of its modest appetite. The petrol station cashier may start wondering whether you have fallen out.
Five doors mean nobody needs to perform amateur yoga to reach the back seats. Its compact size makes that parking space everyone else drove past suddenly look rather inviting. Silver paint and 15 inch alloys keep it looking smart without demanding an audience.
Perfect for someone who wants to spend less on getting around without feeling punished every time they get in. Your first car can have heated seats. Your second car does not have to be the family disappointment.
If this sounds like your sort of sensible excess, send me a message and come try the warm seat.
I am Raf, the owner of Rafinski Motorhaus, so you deal directly with the person who chose the car. There is no sales team to consult, although I may consult the kettle.
